Socrates' argument for why one should act justly and risk death rather than act unjustly to avoid death?

To create the last opportunity for justice and stop the decline of Athens. On the example of himself show, what is to be good citizen and how to rule, because citizenship and ruling were interwoven in ancient times (see Plato's The Republic by Jane Yarbrough, Barrons Educational Series Inc.).
