Stay in commission sales or go for sales lead position?

im currently working in commission sales and was offered a position to become a sales lead at another store, however i cant decide if the job is right for me. as far as salary goes its pretty much the same amount of money just alot more responsibility and work in a lead position. it seems like a good choice because of the experience and a constant paycheck since i will no longer have to worry about making sales as my primary source of income but i cant make a decision. anyone have any input as to what i should do?
